About Me:

I am a Lover of Art and Music and learning about the world around me. People say I'm kind, creative, curious, imaginative, and that I worry too much. I love the sunshine and the ocean. Love to travel, I'd pretty much go anywhere atleast once. I tend to procrastinate, but I also do best when under pressure. I am somewhat shy and a tad anxious around people. I try to be kind to all I meet and never to hurt anyone.

About My Art:

I find it hard to refer to myself as an 'artist', I feel that is a title that others should place upon someone by others. Instead I see myself as someone who expresses themself through art, using paint, paper, canvas, and various other mediums. I will admit upfront that I seem incapable of painting anything seen as 'realism' , I wish I could, I envy those of you who have that gift. My art deals more with color, form, and motion. I paint things that I see in my head. I create my own 'reality' when I paint. The larger the surface, the better I am! I seem unable to paint/draw on smaller surfaces. I love to use lots of color and I am fond of paintings flowers (as I see them in my head). I am amazed and flattered when someone likes my art. I am new to the world of selling and I find it hard to put prices on each piece, I would give my art away if I could only afford to do so..... Maybe one day I 'll be able to !

Favorite Music:

Passionate about Jeff buckley! I also love led Zeppelin, Jonny Lang, Eluvium, Explosions in the sky, Amos Lee, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Remy Zero, Audioslave, Soundgarden, .....I love classical music, classic rock, some tunes from the 80's , just for fun. I'm open to anything if it's good!

Favorite Films:

Hard to say. It depends on the mood I'm in and the day you ask me. However, I always seem to include thrillers with those psychological 'twist', goofy comedies, like the ones with Chris Farley & David Spade. I like movies that can make me think about something in a new way. I loved Amadaeus, Saving Private Ryan, Sixth Sense, Signs, Clockwork Orange, Tommy Boy, The Pirates of The Carribbean series, Austin Powers series... recently saw 'Doubt' and loved it.

Favorite Artists:

William Blake, Matisse, Picasso, Bacon, Leger, Franz Marc, Klimt, Van Gough, Bruegel, Holbain, Modigliani, any many local and regional artists, I am amazed by all the truely talented people 'out there'
