Profile Information

About Me:

A former financial engineer (investment banker) and part-time fashion photographer, who turned full-time photographic artist back in 2002. Award winning and now internationally acclaimed, I am now defined as a "mid-career" artist. I also founded the art movement "Imaginism" back in December 2006, to embrace my own artistic style, and with a desire to categorise my work.

About My Art:

I specialise in the art-nude and erotic-nude genres. My principal focus is on the creation of images which I define as "imaginistic". Be it the beauty of the female form or that of an architectural monument. Such images will leave your imagination to complete the picture. You will see (or not see) as much (or as little) as you so desire. Your own imagination is primarily the key to your own personal interpretation of much of my work.

Your reference to proper prices didn't escape my notice either, the unavoidable problem being that cutting one's usual and unchanged prices over the years would create resentment from a vast number of former collectors - it is a bit problematic. Marc seems a nice man so I hope he survives.

If you can be bothered to look at the photos on my page you can see the white frames don't fit around my pics - depending on the format of the painting you will see some of the black background before you get to the frame. Well, it seems I'm not explaining my dilemma with enough clarity !
Went to the gallery in Villefranche-s-Mer with a smaller painting than the one of a new series Marc really wanted to see as it was too big to get into my (very big) car ! He is seriously interested in my work but struggling to survive the recession and selling (big) paintings he has in store by famous painters like Armand etc. at knock-down prices; i.e. 4000 euros. Anyone else he takes on would in a 2000 euro bracket. He's going to let me know if he's still up & running in 2 months.
