I agree... i kept changing the image - eveything that worked was accidental, including the 'tear drop'... i applied a lot of diluted paint to below the neck line - needed to drain it off - only realised what had happened after i placed the image dow…

About Me:

Sandra Wray is a Brazilian born artist, now living in Essex. She trained as a ceramic artist at the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, South Africa, where she graduated with full honours before moving to London. She worked for many years as a ceramic artist before moving onto painting. She found that painting gave her the ability to express herself in ways that ceramics never could. She found painting to be more immediate. Her paintings speak for her, expressing her thoughts and emotions more vivid and deeply than any words could.

About My Art:

My painting is an expression of who I am and what I am about. I have always struggled to express myself through conventional means, and in time found painting to be the most accurate source of expressing what it is that that I think and feel at the time. I manipulate paint and use expressive lines to show more than just what you see. I want the viewer to feel it, to sense it.

I came to b-uncut through Sandra and I am ever so happy I did. It is fantastic that her work has been selected to be featured. A committed and hard working artists, I pride myself of having witnessed Sandra’s beginnings as a painter after a well established career as ceramicist, that naturally lead her into the bi-dimensional realms of painting. Her work has taken -grown- a course from a rich array of swirling brushstrokes, meandering through the picture surface to more complex and angular compositions where graphic elements -graphisms- alternate with broad sections of colour. Her work is infused with a particular energy that demands careful analysis of its dynamics. The way it is expressed deserves a detailed critique. Well done!'

But I just find it a waste of hours. I just go through the motions till I can get back to doing what I like. The painting looks great, well done.
