- She was born in Ankara in 1961.She graduated from Hacettepe University in 1983. Artist continues her art stduies at her workshop in Ankara.
Some of her works are published as cards by TEMA. She has staged 17 personal exhibitions. She joined more than 30 mixed exhibitions and five of them is abroad. She has 3 personal catalogs. She has a website www.nadidegurcuoglu.com that is located in lebriz.com. She is a member of Association Internationale des Arts Plastiques.

- About My Art:
- Although I was interested in painting, I completed my education in the field of mathematics. Following my graduation, I started my working life in this field. While my professional life was going on, I received my art education at the Painting Workshop of well-known artist, Hikmet Çetinkaya.
I consider the impressionist style closer to myself. Generally, I created works which were focused on color and splash instead of forms. I usually start my works by creating the composition on paper through charcoal pencil. I try to transfer the dynamism and liveliness of my inner world to canvas through colors and splashes, all with an aesthetic concern. I create my paintings oil on canvas.
I was interpreting all the paintings as a way of pursuit, as a study, trying to experience different techniques. However, I observed that I’m repeating myself from time to time.
I’m sure that to perform my studies in such a working environment, to closely follow up interpretations of different cultures, and to receive academic evaluations will immensely contribute to my artistic development.
