About Me:

I am an art dealer/buyer/rep - own a gallery. . writer, designer
my education:

I grew up in Edmonds, went to the UW, studied abroad for a year, went to another design school for an additional two years, got accepted to Princeton for the MBA program.............
I'm a very free spirit with a ton of curiosity about the world. I meet people easily and usually end up with at least one new friend wherever I go. Am a bright, energetic, funny, feminine, gourmet cook, creative mother of four, affectionate, affirming and kind. Can read a map, had all my shots, am a great listener, communicator and lover. My children and friends say i have a lot of wisdom. Actually, I love being home, just hanging out, doing whatever, just as much as I love going out. Pretty content wherever I am. I guess I have learned the beauty of acceptance and 'being mindful'. Family is very important to me and the celebration of special occasions and holidays with those I love.

About My Art:

The MARNI MUIR GALLERY is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to exhibiting the work of ambitious contemporary artists at all levels of their careers and development. painting, sculpture, mixed media, works on paper, photography and prints by regional, national and international artists. We are founded on being an innovative showcase for the ongoing presentation and promotion of strong, visceral, and visionary contemporary art. Please refer to the artist's section to view the various works of individual artists.

Marni Muir has been a private art dealer for nearly twenty-five years, a venture that has progressed into a wide range of artists and artistic expression. The premiere exhibit opened in Seattle Wednesday, February 6, 2008 featuring the art of Curt Labitzke, originally from New York.

The gallery allows Muir to formally showcase the artists she represents ranging from emerging to well established.
