About Me:
Born in Finland on the year of our lord 1981 and been living in Oxford, United Kingdom since early june 2009 with my english partner and loving it so far... the partner and the country
About My Art:
The photography bug bit me sometime in the spring of 2008 when i got my hands on a canon digital SLR. Before that i had always been interested but never had any sort of proper equipment. Ive slowly started to find my style aswell wich is mainly black and white photography. Why B&W ? Well a lot of people simply think its black and white and thats it but in reality theres just so much more depth in black and white and this is what i sort of try to explore in my photography. Im especially fascinated by Tim Burtons ( movie director, Batman, Batman Returns, Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow ) use of colors, the way he desatures colourful scenes and makes them look cold, gritty and gloomy.
Favorite Music:
Oh where to begin... CCR, Slipknot, Elvis, The Crystal Method, The Doors, The Police, Fear Factory, Shinedown... Everything goes really apart from R n'B, modern Hip Hop and, well any mainstream stuff ie. Britney Spears, Beyonce, Eminem and such.
Favorite Films:
Being a movie buff has its downsides. Whenever someone asks for your favorite movie, you draw a blank. Not because you dont know the answer but because there are just so many to choose from. The Star Wars movies have always been very close to my heart so i guess they are my favorite movies but then again the Indiana Jones films, Alien movies or Back to the Future trilogy have almost the same impact because these are the sort of unique larger then life movies for me but if i really had to give favorite films, then it would be the Star Wars movies in no particular order.
