Right now I am only doing 9x12 and 18x12. Some people have been buying them and putting them in groupings which look very good.

Again thank you for the support and compliment. :)

I draw the originals with black pencil, then digitally edit with sepia or a boost of color. Black and white is really my favorite, but I am now excited about the sepia as well.

I have purchased a 9x12 stretched canvas and I am going to try painting the original drawing.

About Me:

Avid collector of art and advocate for artists. And an experimenting artist with an engineering, business, R&D, high tech and paper making background enjoying the journey. I work full time as a Program Manager in the Consumer Electronics industry. Art is my creative release. I'm a self-taught artist with a smattering of workshops in photography, monotype and watercolor. My personal collection includes "La Soffiata" by Vigliaturo and "Beatus Vir" by Benzoni. In addition, etchings by Picasso, a carborundum print paper mask by Berck-Vitz and monotypes and mobiles by local Bay Area artists.

About My Art:

I work in mixed media, monotype and watercolor. My most recent pieces in monotype were created under the instruction of Master Printer Erik Madsen and San Jose ICA Master Printer Fanny Retsek. Use of space, geometric shape, abstraction, texture and color are the primary elements defining my artwork. My mixed media pieces utilize recycled paper, stone, wire and found objects or objects collected in my family through my life.

My art is inspired by my background in engineering, experience in the paper industry, colors and styles of the mid 20th century, eastern philosophy as well as art styles and works of modern abstract and contemporary artists and engineers I've observed in my travels around the US, Europe and Asia.
