AlkydPro Workshops & Demos
Greetings!


We are in the early stages of trying to organize a workshop and demo program to introduce and educate artists about AlkydPro paint. We are emailing C.A.S.AlkydPro customers to find artists in various areas of the country who may be interested in hosting these, giving lectures, demos, etc. You would be able to set and keep your fee that you charge participants. We will provide paint for both demonstrations and workshop participants. We would like to know if you would consider being involved. Here are some questions to help you decide if this may be for you:


1. Do you have experience or enjoy teaching, being in front of a group?
2. Do you have time to organize a workshop and free demonstration...finding a location, promotion, registration?
3. Do you know of possible locations in your area (art centers, galleries, colleges,etc.)?
4. Do you think that you can get a group of a minimum of 10 artists together?

Larisa is on target and in fact that is one of the recommendation amid many including writing exercises to unblock in the book *The Artist's Way* by Julia Cameron--it's a great book--I've read so many and this one really helps!

Rearrange your workspace. Or change your usual workspace. I recently rearranged my living room and it took my creativity to another place.

HELP
My work has several strands, see my page, I am however stuck, my most recent abstract Antidote to Malady is a follow up to Jazz, Improvisation on a Sunny Afternoon series. But I am currently blocked, unable to progress, with the series, currently the painting is at a gallery awaiting a showing so I am unable to get any feedback from that source and would welcome any suggestions from fellow artists on this site. Currently I have Matisse blocking my mind, particularly Basket of Oranges, painted in 1912, especially the oranges and the black spaces in between the fruit, plus a stack of metre by metre canvases to complete for sale by christmas. The more I ponder, the less inspiration I get, anyone got any unblocking tips, the weather is foul, daylight scarce, and my usual tricks are not working. So I would appreciate comments suggestions.....
