History 2008-2009
The cafe became under new administration since the Founder and freeholder bar keep went 'walkabout'!

A 'custodian' took the lease, so to speak.
Michael took the administration of the cafe for three months originally intending an ending March 2009, when he will yield to a another if requested, helping to keep things flowing and fresh! ( see below**)

Topics are wide and varied. The Cafe ask everyone to be appreciative that members are multi-ethnic and cultural, whether residing in your country or another, as well as in differing economic circumstances maybe to yourselves. Motives for undertaking art differ as much as the world continues to revolve. Conviviality is very appreciated. Joining in conversations &c. is not obligatory!

Hi all,
Michael i like that comment about

"It's there, sort of thing. I can be lazy about it yet it is there!"

This has some resonance with me , i often wonder why i dont create or make something at sometime, and i wonder if there is an element of the work needing to mature within before it "becomes" ?
What do people think?

MCJ, thanks very much!
Michael, I really enjoyed you Capercorn combination. I only started having dogs as an adult and was surprised at the deep connection that can be made with them.

Hi Marie,

I would want to write une petite quelquechose for the Salon, but frankly I don't understand how the blog works. Do I have to register to post articles?
Marie Kazalia Comment by Marie Kazalia on April 29, 2009 at 7:08am
Dear b-uncut members. I'm seeking articles for the group blog for the Artist Marketing Salon. A paragraph or two and a couple of links, or something longer on any aspect of the art world, both online or off. Share personal experiences or research something and share it in an article. I will place each article in the premier top spot on the blog for a few weeks (which can link to your website). The blog averages more than ten hits per day. After a few weeks I will move your article to it's own page where it will remain as part of the collection of useful resources the blog is meant to be.

If you've never written an article for a blog, writing one for Artist Marketing Salon blog may prove to be a valuable experience. Guest authoring on blogs is considered one way to get your name out there. Even if you just write a few paragraphs for the group blog, it's a start. The group blog for Artist Marketing Salon is at: http://ArtistMarketingSalon.wordpress.com

I am enjoying the conversation as well. I wonder sometimes, if our eyes were located elsewhere, perhaps say, one in each buttock, whether we might have different ideas about the location of our minds. Perspective influences much don't you think?
