Where Artists Gather - And Art Breaks

Philip Letts

What would you like b-uncut to do for you going forwards?

As we go into 2009 please tell us how you would like to see b-uncut develop. What would you ideally like b-uncut to do for you and your art?

How can we help you more in 2009?

Be as specific as you want.

Hi Philip,
I have been noticing that on my page it has comment or follow thread. Which I think is great. I have not found any other artist (yet) with this feature. I think it is a really good feature and I hope you can add it to more of the artist pages. Also I mentioned once before. Key words? I don't know sometimes they can be a pain but interested in knowing what others think about that as a feature.

Wren, thanks for the comments - they are well noted. By the way, if you blog at b-Uncut - you can tag the blogs and even add images. That sends out key words across the Internet that could help you in a wider context across. Just a thought.

Thx Charles. In the mean time you can add music to the Music section at b-Uncut - right hand column. Give it a go.

What i think would be a great idea to publicise buncut in a non internet old schooly stylee is if you got some business cards printed with buncut details mailed them out to members and we could then have them on show at craft fairs, exhibitions etc. This would be a relatively inexpensive way of promoting it? I get business with my cards i get them done on www.123print.co.uk really cheap but great quality! I think the ideas that you have phillip are great especially exhibition opps and publishing under buncut banner. How about also b uncut artist greeting cards even virtual ones we could email as well?

The business card print promo idea is a good one. Also www.MOO.com has an option for mini-cards with a variety of images added from one file --such as all the art image posted here. There are individual adjustments to cropping each pic that are extremely easy to use.

I am glad to know about the blog here. I had a big spike in visitors to my Wordpress blog as soon as I connected to Twitter.
Is B-uncut connected to all those resources in any way? Or if I start a blog here can others watch it on twitter or subscribe to it on the google blog reader. One of my goals for 2K9 is to learn and use many more ways to connect and interconnect...

b-Uncut automatically tags your blogs here and sends them out to the search engines along with your personal profile (virtual studio) at b-Uncut so you get the viral benefits of blogging at b-Uncut as well as providing info, visuals and dialogue within the b-Uncut artist member community. I have not had the time to promote b-Uncut on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter etc but would greatly appreciate it if any b-Uncut members went out there and promoted us - the platform is now ready for it. Thx Philip

I don't have the expertise to do justice to b-cut in connecting to the many resources out in the WWW--

However, this morning I posted the link to b-uncut at http://www.artbistro.com
